During the day, the boar sojourns back in the impenetrable scrubland, around some puddles or springs, digging up roots from the land, gathering berries. In the evening, the black beasts go out into the Ortolo valley, joining the swamp and the beach.

Driven hunt A proper living culture « Attenti!... Signare!...», From a prominent rock, the hunting drivers alert the participants, encourage the dogs, making the hunt even more alive and exciting. And the throats of griffins and other racing short-haired dogs start barking, louder and louder, closer and closer, sojourning focused on the route despite the dense maquis, the thousands of flavors around and the day warming up.
From generation to generation, hunters have passed down one of the most beautiful secrets of the maquis: the posts. Some are those for the old, others for the youngers, for the good shooters, for everyone actually; ‘’according to the post, the rifle stands’’, as per the adage says. Here each one finds its own place in the heart of the driven hunt, a true story of men sharing the same passion for the wild. Each single moment of the day is indeed shared with each other, from the morning while the random draw where some Corsican dialect can be heard, during the lunch break and even in the evening, during the dinner. A fire place, some laughs and songs around, and all remember memories of the day.
